On Saturday, April 17th, LA Streetsblog editor Damien Newton and his church St. Andrew’s West L.A. are having a clean-up and sustainability day and the LA Greensters are going to demonstrate that you don’t need a car to be green.
At noon the Greensters will be getting ready for the electronics recycling bike ride to UCLA, electronics that have been gathered and dropped off this week. The trip is roughly 4 miles.

Leaves at 1pm for UCLA:
550 Charles E. Young Dr. West
Westwood CA
The route would be part of the Backbone, which is Santa Monica, Sepulveda & Wilshire.
Exact route:
National to Barrington north -> to Santa Monica Blvd east -> to Sepulveda north -> to Wilshire eastm -> to Gayley Ave north, straight up to UCLA.
Anybody is invited to join us. Bring your bike with trailer if you have or your Xtracycle.
There will be refreshments before and Pizza afterward.
